Really, Vitamins plays an important role in proper maintenance of eyesight. By knowing benefits of each vitamin people can improve and maintain their eye sights.I agree with you that smokers have more eyesight problems than others, so they have to take proper care to keep themselves free from these eyesight diseases.

Hi Orlin,

Thanks for the above info.

I noticed 2 typos above, which you may like to correct (there may be more - I wasn't really concentrating).

1. "As soon as the corrective lenses are removed the problems is still there."
should be:
"...the problem is..." (singular)
or possibly:
"...the problems return."

2. "However, for those who do the results can be astonishing."
should be:
"...do, the..."

PS: How do I get on your payroll? 8)

Later.

Hi Orlin,

Thanks for this good summary.

Under "Amblyopia", I think the 3 instances of the word "dominate" should be changed to "dominant". But I'm drawing on English skills which earned 30+% grades in high school, so this advice comes with the disclaimer below. Enjoy.

Thanks.

You wouldn't get your average high street optician advocating eye exercises. Chances are, if you mention eye exercises they would probably say they don't work. After all, they want to sell glasses! If natural vision therapy caught on, the optical industry would be in big trouble. Unfortunately, health care in general has a lot to do with business and, consequently, the public suffer. But it's fortunate that, in view of the greater availability of information with the advent of the internet, the public have a better chance of finding out the alternatives to mainstream medicine and helping themselves.

Hello Orlin,

Just a quick question... in the exercise mentioned above, titled "Fun with Paper" - when looking at our fingers (#4), I understand we shouldn't move our head, but what about the eyes? Should we look at the fingers with the corner of the eye (indirect vision) or can we actually move the eye to the right and left respectively? I'm confused about this.

Thanks!

Hi Terry and Nola,

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I've edited the blog above but here is it is...

Blink every three to four seconds for a total of two minutes.

Next, blink once every 30 seconds for two minutes.

Compare the difference. When you blink more often, your eyes will feel fresher and be allowed to rest more often, which will help to improve reading capabilities.
